David M. Ascher

DAVID M. ASCHER is an Associate with the firm’s Litigation, Criminal and Real Estate Departments.

David is engaged in representing commercial clients and developers in claims against municipalities in both local and New York State Supreme Courts.  Mr. Ascher also represents corporate clients and developers before municipal zoning and planning boards throughout the New York metropolitan area. A substantial part of his work has been in residential and commercial real estate transactions.

David also concentrates in Federal and State criminal defense. David currently acts as a "Special Prosecutor" in numerous Villages and Towns in Rockland County prosecuting New York State Police issued Vehicle and Traffic violations.  He served as an Assistant District Attorney in Rockland County prior to joining the firm.

Mr. Ascher received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island and is a graduate of Pace University School of Law (J.D. 2002), where he was selected to represent Pace in the National Moot Court Competition.
